Earl Park Fall Festival

DEMOLITION DERBY

The Earl Park Fall Festival will host a Demolition Derby on Sunday during the festival weekend. This event is sponsored by the Earl Park Lion’s Club. Registration and inspection begins at 1:00 PM and concludes at 2:15 PM. The entry fee is $35 per vehicle. Pit passes are free. Drivers must be 21 years of age or have a notarized permit from a parent or guardian. At least $2000 will be awarded in prize money; including at least $1200 to the feature winner, $300 to the second place feature finish, and $100 to the third place feature finish. A Hard Hitter trophy will also be awarded.

The afternoon program will depend on the number and types of cars entered into the Demolition Derby. Normally, there are approximately 5 heats with 10-12 cars participating per heat. A pick-up truck heat will be conducted as well as a compact car class. The top 3 cars from each heat will be permitted to enter the feature.
